  • Antique Creamer, German Porcelain, Pink Roses, Leuchtenburg Creamer, Antique Tableware, Antique Servingware, (Discontinued)
  • Made in: Germany
  • Antique: early 1900's
  • Details:  A precious antique creamer from Germany.  It has a very delicate shape and the roses design is just beautiful!  Not only are the roses beautiful, the creamer has embossed dots to resemble "lace" all around the top and bottom borders as well as the handle.  The mark reads:  "Leuchtenburg, Made in Germany" and shows a castle illustration.   Based on the mark, we know it was made by C.A. Lehman & Sohn of Kahla, in Thuringia, Germany circa 1905 to 1919.  The castle mark represents the Leuchtenburg Castle in Germany which is close to Kahla. We don't know the name of this pattern, possible it was not named.  This would make a great hostess gift, Mother's Day gift or perfect addition for a creamer collector.

C.A. Lehman & Sohn of Kahla, was founded in 1895 Thuringia, Germany, by  Carl August Lehmann and Paul Zierold in 1885.  The castle mark represents the Leuchtenburg Castle in Germany which is close to Kahla.  The company merged with Franz Bauer Porcelain Manufactory in 1935 to form Bauer & Lehmann.  Some show this company closed in 1937, however, others say it became Kahla Porcelain Manufactory in 1965.
