Replacement sediment filter cartridge helps ensure reliable production of sediment-free RO/DI (reverse osmosis/deionization) water for aquarium use. The AquaticLife RO Buddie Sediment Filter Cartridge functions as the first line of defense against dirt and debris by effectively capturing and reducing unwanted particulate material such as sand, silt, and rust from tap water. Spun polypropylene filter traps sediment down to 5 microns in size. Clever inline design makes it easy to plumb into many different types of filtration needs. Simply connect to the molded 1/4" Female Pipe Threads (FPT) on each end of the cartridge. Install prior to carbon filtration as a prefilter to extend reliable overall performance of your reverse osmosis/deionization system.
The AquaticLife RO Buddie Sediment Filter Cartridge can be used for AquaticLife models 540016, 540017, 540019, and other RO &; RO/DI brands, including Geekpure, APEC, and LiquaGen.
STAGE 1 - AquaticLife RO System Sediment Cartridge:
Replace every 3-6 months, after 1,500 gallons total water passing through the cartridge, or after producing 400 gallons of filtered water.
